Stonybrook Metal Arts & Sculpture School

Jewelry 1

with Kylie Weinzierl

$500

In this 5 week introductory class, students learn the fundamentals of jewelry-making to create their own wearable designs. We start with cutting, filing, soldering, polishing, and other traditional fabrication skills to make a custom sterling silver bezel-set ring. Using these skills, students then design and create a final project under the guidance of the instructor. Some materials are included, and more will be available for purchase in the studio, as needed.

  • Sept 2nd-Sept 30th, Mondays, 6-9pm

  • October 8th-November 5th, Tuesdays 6-9pm

  • November 19th-December 17th, Tuesdays 6-9pm

Please note that class schedules may adjust slightly due to snow days, holidays, etc.

Custom workshops are available as well, including: wedding ring workshops, teen welding intensives, and more! Send us an email at jewelry@stonybrookmass.org if you have any questions or suggestions!
