Mold Making and Metal Casting

This 8 week class teaches beginner students how to use basic mold making skills to cast aluminum and/or bronze. Students learn wax sculpting, mold making, casting, finishing, and patination. The lost wax method with ceramic shell is utilized to create sculptures, seal stamps, bookends, or other functional objects.

While this class is intended for beginners new to the process, experienced students are welcome! If you have taken this class before or already have foundry experience and would like to pay by the class, please contact us.
