Stonybrook Metal Arts & Sculpture School

Working from live models in a range of poses, students will sculpt the human figure in oil-based clay. This practice is a great way to hone your observational skills and your understanding of gesture and proportion in the human form.You will also gain experience posing the armature and modelling three-dimensional forms in clay. Each pose will be two weeks long (total 6 hrs), after which you should be prepared to dismantle your figure so thatthe clay and armature can be reused for your next sculpture. Models will be posing nude.This class is open to all levels - beginners and experienced sculptors welcome!

Dates: 10/23- 12/18, 2025 No Class Thursday November27th (Thursdays, 6-9pm, 8 weeks) 

Price: $580
